Searching for Etihad Rail station locations in the UAE? As of 1 October 2026, the official booking website lists passenger journeys involving Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Dhaid and Fujairah. The network is opening in phases, so check the station and date in the live planner before setting off.

Current passenger stations to search are Abu Dhabi (Mohamed Bin Zayed City), Dubai (Jumeirah Golf Estates), Al Dhaid (Sharjah) and Fujairah (Al Hilal City). Etihad Rail’s announced expansion schedule continues through March 2027.

Where are the current Etihad Rail passenger stations?

These four locations are shown in the passenger booking system at the time of writing. “Sharjah” can mean the Al Dhaid stop or the later Sharjah Station in the expansion schedule, so choose the exact station shown for your journey.

Station location and the city centre are not always the same thing. Check the official network map for the station pin, then plan the road, taxi or public-transport connection for your full journey.

Etihad Rail rollout dates announced for 2026–27

Passenger services are being introduced in phases. The current Etihad Rail passenger page lists these milestones:

  1. 30 June 2026: introductory passenger services between Abu Dhabi and Fujairah began.
  2. 30 September 2026: Dubai and Al Dhaid stations were scheduled to join the network; check the planner for date-specific trips.
  3. 30 November 2026: Zayed City and Liwa stations are listed for the next phase.
  4. 30 December 2026: the remaining Al Dhafra stations are listed for opening.
  5. 30 March 2027: Sharjah Station is listed as a later network milestone.

These are the operator’s announced dates, not a guarantee that every route is available for every travel day. Confirm the live timetable and ticket availability before making connecting plans.

  • Search your exact origin and destination in the official booking planner; station options and available trips can vary by date.
  • Check the station pin and last-mile route. Do not assume a station is in the centre of the emirate it serves.
  • Confirm the departure time, ticket conditions, parking and any shuttle or public-transport connections on the operator’s current information pages.
  • Use passenger stations shown in the ticket planner; Etihad Rail’s freight network is a separate service.

Which Etihad Rail stations can I use now?

As checked on 1 October 2026, the official booking site lists Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Dhaid and Fujairah passenger stations. Search your route and travel date to confirm that a train is operating.

Is the Dubai station in central Dubai?

The Dubai passenger station is in Jumeirah Golf Estates. Check the map and plan how you will reach the station before booking a connecting taxi, hotel or other transport.

Is Al Dhaid the same as Sharjah Station?

Etihad Rail lists Al Dhaid and a later Sharjah Station milestone separately. Select the precise station name in the live planner rather than relying on the emirate label alone.

Are all planned stations open?

No. The passenger network is being rolled out in phases. Check Etihad Rail’s latest passenger page for updated opening information.
